Summit Academy Schools operate as part of the Public School System in the State of Ohio. Our professional and specially-trained staff offer a unique instructional program which is designed to enhance learning for these children and unlock their full potential. In addition, our curricumlum fully adheres to the Ohio Academic Content Standards for Education.

Our Mission:

Summit Academy :: Columbus is a therapeutic school that addresses the academic, interpersonal, and emotional needs of students with Asperger's Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS).

Our Vision:

• To create/maintain an instructional program that will be adapted to each individual child's learning styles, needs, interests and rate of learning.
• To encourage and empower our students to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will allow them to excel in daily life.
• To involve the families as active participants in the academic and social development of their child.
• To increase public awareness and support for the program initiatives of Summit Academy Community Schools.
