The purpose of the Summit Academy :: Columbus PTST shall be:

To promote the welfare of the children and youth in the home, school and community.
To promote inclusiveness and cultural awareness.
To raise the standards of home life through communication, education, and informational meetings and offerings.
To develop a closer relationship between the home and the school in order for parents and teachers to share a cooperative spirit in the education of the child.
To develop efforts among educators, parents, and community that will ensure every child receives the highest advantages in physical, cultural, social, emotional and cognitive development.
To provide an opportunity for all stakeholders (families, community, teachers, students) to volunteer time with and for the school.

Summit Academy :: Columbus' PTST meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the DOJO.
